This cemetery is adjacent to the much larger Cimitero dei Rotoli on the Via Vergine Maria, part of the coastal road situated about 5 kilometres north of the port and city centre.
To reach the headstones, visitors should not enter through the main cemetery entrance. Instead, facing the main entrance, they should walk to the right along the perimeter wall until they reach an iron pedestrian gate with pointed bars, which serves as the entrance to the extension of the Non-Catholic Cemetery. Inside this extension, by turning right into the first section, they will find the two headstones in question.

History information
The Italians entered the war on the Allied side, declaring war on Austria, in May 1915. Commonwealth forces were at the Italian front between November 1917 and November 1918. The Royal and Merchant Navies were active in the Mediterranean and Adriatic throughout the war and many of their dead are buried along the Italian coast.
Palermo British Cemetery contains two Commonwealth burials of the First World War.
