  • Additional Info Son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Tarrant, of Streatham, London; husband of Irene Rosaline Seaton Gregorie (formerly Tarrant, nee Winton). Served in the South African Campaign in Natal Mounted Police and later in Royal Warwickshire Regt., to which he was gazetted as 2nd Lt. in 1900. From 1902 to 1907 he served with the West African Frontier Force. Transferred in 1908 to Highland Light Inf., joining 2nd Bn. in India.
