  • Additional Info Younger son of John Patten MacDougall, of Gallanach, Argyllshire, and Clydebank House, Greenock, writer to the Signet, and Helen Isabel Patten MacDougall. Was severly wounded in 1915 in Flanders, when in command of the Machine Guns of his Regiment at the second battle of Ypres. Winner of the South African Rifle Championship Cup and Medal 1909.
