Burial service for Sergeant Richard Musgrave MM will be held at CWGC Loos British Cemetery

Burial service for Sergeant Richard Musgrave MM, 446424, Canadian Infantry will take place at Loos British Cemetery on Tuesday 13th September 2022 at 2 pm (local time). 

Sgt Richard Musgrave MM died on 15th August 1917 whilst serving with 7th Battalion, Canadian Infantry. He was previously commemorated on the CWGC Vimy Memorial. 

Following the recovery of the soldier’s remains, the CWGC will mark his grave with Commission headstones, bearing the soldier’s name and a personal inscription chosen by the family, and will care for him in perpetuity. The service has been organised by the Canadian Directorate of History and Heritage, National Defence, and will be attended by family members, Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
