  • Additional Info Son of the late Capt. Henry and Catherine Owen of Morfa Nevin, Carnarvonshire; husband of Jane Owen, of "Erw Goch," Morfa Nevin. In November, 1914, while in command of another H.M.T. "North Wales" his ship was caught and sunk off Coronel, South America, by German cruiser "Dresden." He was made prisoner and released after battle of Falkland Islands.
